It is our standard procedure to always check the watches before shipping. The problem described here does not affect the normal functions of the watch, the skipping occurs if the crown is in a particular position. This is certainly not ideal and was not discovered when we checked it, probably because it actually works when the crown is in the right position. We cannot rule out that the shipping process might have made a pre-existing issue more significant. The buyer returned the watch and we covered the return shipping costs.
