Comentario del comprador:
Its always worrying to buy second hand for certain goods - AirPods Max, guitars, microphones, designer items - the amount of fakes, fake reviews, dodgy internals, "accidental" incorrect shipments and trickery and the ensuing customs payments that can be very difficult to recover or recoup in the case of anything going wrong - all of this should be taken into account when looking at possible savings. I recently started building my watch collection and have definitely added watches to this category. You have to be soooo careful when buying. I've bought from 4 seperate Japanese dealers so far, one sent me an incorrect model and fought tooth and nail to try and make me give up and go away (they never made it good, I forced a refund via credit card). Another sent me the watch but the strap was non-genuine and the back fell off. No biggie, but still. The 3rd is pending and then there is this sale. I am happy to report that I have had the watch evaluated, have checked a myriad of different models, serials, variances and years and am 100% certain it is genuine; I am being issued with new paperwork from Chanel and will get the service plan. However, trying to get information before and after the sale is really difficult. Their translation method is literal, blunt and borders on rude. The pictures all had a mark on them, something left by the designer who had put on the watermark, and once you worked it out it was obvious. I queried whether they could provide extra links and was coldly told that the listing stated very clearly the band diameter and no extras; I knew this and had referenced it, but this was an enquiry about purchasing something extra, not a complaint. Trying to make this clear bore no fruit. So for the actual criteria they score low as the pictures had issues and their communication is awful, but the watch was absolutely pristine save a very small sharp edge on the crown base, my jeweller filed this but you could have spent a lifetime with this watch and never noticed the issue. None of the sellers I've worked with yet have made me feel that I would prefer to use them regularly than shop around; they all seem to have some very common traits. But the item itself, is in fantastic condition and at a saving of £3-4,000 from MSRP I don't mind paying for the extra link, valuation, certificate and box elsewhere.
