After submitting my order and starting the transfer of funds to purchase the watch, I was told it was already sold. This communication did not happen spontaneously. I happened to ask, while waiting for the funds to be cleared into escrow, if they truly had the watch. Only then did they let me know it was already sold. I can understand that a watch might be sold while it is still being advertised but if it is sold, then you should not accept an offer and you certainly shouldn’t let the buyer transfer funds to purchase a watch you do not have available to sell.
