As a long time collector, I've purchased dozens of watches - not only from Chrono24, but across many watch forums as well. This isn't to say that I have a vast collection, but only that I have substantial experience in buying and selling watches with others in the community. And I can honestly say that NEVER - in my LIFE - have I come across a dealer, in my opinion, as immoral and deceitful as the mystery person transacting behind the scenes of WATCH REPUBLIC, KAROL KALUZNY.  Allow me to explain... After agreeing on a price, I sent funds for a Heuer Senator (a dual timezone digital watch from the 70's, valued at just less than $2,000 USD). When the watch arrived, I noticed that the analog part wasn't working, and the digital part kept blinking. So I write to this dealer, very respectfully, to notify them of the issue. Very rudely and dismissively, the dealer responds "Its [sic] for sure not broken. Yes, maybe new battery is needed." I remind this individual that the watch was advertised as in "really super condition. Working great, chrono works as it should." But fine, whatever, I can afford a new battery... so, I bring the watch to my local watch dealer only to find out that they're unable to fix it - that the reason the digital part is blinking is because the caliber 107 used for the digital version is extremely old and the particular movement used in the watch I received has begun to RUST and is on the verge of shutting down. After informing the dealer that I will be returning the watch, the dealer tells me that they are "1000% sure that it was fully working" and that if I'm going to return the watch, I must declare 20 euros or they will refuse the package and leave it in customs. Wait, WHAT?! Yes, you read that right: this dealer tells me that, UNLESS I DECLARE 20 EUROS ON THE RETURN SHIPMENT, THEY WILL REFUSE THE RETURN PACKAGE AND LEAVE IT IN CUSTOMS (I am in the United States, the dealer is in Poland.). So I called Chrono24 and as expected, they instruct that I declare the true value of the shipment. Even though I received a BROKEN digital watch, I spent nearly $200 USD to send the package back, as a return shipment via FedEx, and at the true value, on July 11. The watch arrived in Poland customs on July 15. A day passes by... then a week... but no tracking shows no movement out of customs. So I called Chrono24, again, and they tell me that they will contact the dealer and instruct them to pick up the package. But still, no movement. Finally, after 15 days in customs, on July 30, I received notification from FedEx that the shipment is being returned to me. WTF?! Yes, this really happened. If I was making this sh*t up, I'm sure Chrono24 would've deleted this review, but it can all be fact-checked. Fortunately, after countless phone calls and messages, I finally received my refund (thank you, Chrono24 Buyer Protection). But I will never, EVER, buy from WATCH REPUBLIC KAROL KALUZNY again. Truly the absolute worst.
