Ich habe eine Uhr nicht bekommen, obwohl watchbox sie laut Chrono24 für mich reserviert hatte. Trotz meines klaren schriftlichen Bekenntnisses zum Kauf der Uhr und meiner schriftlichen Anfrage, welche Summe ich genau zahlen soll. Dies passierte alles innerhalb eines Tages. Auf Nachfrage bestätigte Watchbox, dass eine Reservierung bei Watchbox erst dann gültig ist, wenn der Kaufpreis EINGEGANGEN ist. Und während meiner Reservierung hätte ein anderer Kunde bereits bezahlt. Mit anderen Worten: Eine Reservierung bei Watchbox bei Chrono24 ist wertlos. Denn eine Reservierung ist naturgemäß immer VOR der Bezahlung. Welchen Sinn hat dann eine Reservierung? In meinen Augen ist dies kein fairer Umgang mit den Kunden. Soi, und ich hoffe jetzt, dass diese – sehr neutrale – Formulierung jetzt von Chrono24 akzeptiert wird.

Dear Mr. Lamperle, I understand your frustrations as this was a very rare timepiece. I apologize that we could not reserve this for you. Watch Box is a global company and we receive many offers for our watches across platforms. We cannot internally hold every watch we reserve on Chrono24 until we receive payment because many go unpaid. I believe you would have paid, however the watch was sold elsewhere before you had the chance and, for that, I am sorry about the unfortunate timing. Seller did not have possession of the watch and claimed that just as we confirmed the deal, another sales associate in another location had sold the watch. Caused me approximately SGD 1.1K in Forex losses after sending them the money and getting the refund back later. While dealer was polite and apologised, nothing beyond a token apology was given. Will not deal with this seller again.

Very disappointed about the service. When you are interested at buying watch, they seem to be more patient by sending lots of message to close the deal. But when they see a chance to sale at a much higher price, they will definitely tell you it is not available. Unbelievable!!!

Good Afternoon Cohen, We had been discussing this piece since the beginning of March. After we came to terms on a price we asked if you would be submitting payment. You first asked for more information on the piece due to the condition. We apologize but we are unable to reserve a timepiece with out a deposit or payment as we are an international company with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and Switzerland. The watch was sold by a sales rep outside of Chrono24. We apologize again for the inconvenience this has caused.

They seem legit, however my experience this close to Xmas has not been good. They advised the watch was in stock ready to ship, and sent me an offer to purchase. I purchased, paid and had radio silence for 4 days. After following up, they advised they don’t have the watch and gave option for a refund or discount. From there the customer service died, they did not initiate or confirm a refund, and would not reply to my message. I had to action this with Chrono directly.

De feiten: toen ik offerte van deze partij accepteerde via het systeem van Chrono24 en wilde betalen, beek bewuste IWC Rattrapante ref. IW371221 ("Boutique model Geneve") horloge reeds verkocht op eigen site in USA, niet via Chrono 24. Waarschijnlijk voor meer (de bewuste advertentie op de USA site was me bekend, ook het bedrag dat daar gevraagd werd) vanwege niet hoeven te betalen provisie aan Chrono24. Ik moest het geld vooral niet meer overmaken want het was al aan een ander verkocht, werd me meegedeeld door dit bedrijf, toen ik offerte accepteerde en het systeem van Chrono24 me vroeg te betalen. Opmerkelijk dat dit bedrijf niet werkt volgens de spelregels van Chrono24. Ze zouden zich moeten schamen. Blijkbaar heeft een offerte van dit bedrijf geen enkele waarde voor de klant. De naam van bewuste medewerker is bij mij bekend maar zal ik uit integriteitsoverweging niet vermelden. Beschreven manier van omgaan met klanten en met het systeem van Chrono24 is spelbederf. Daarom verwerpelijk.

A total disappointment, I send them a purchase request they took between 1-2 days to reply, they send me a purchase request I PAID and then they cancel the sale. You wonder why? Because the watch that I was about to buy was an explorer March 30th 2021. Their explanation: They sold the watch before the sent me the offer. Right! Watchbox prefers to make some dollars more rather to think about their customers, professionalism zero, customer loyalty what is that? Lets cancel this sale to make more money elsewhere. Just my opinion, probably other people got a nice experience with them........

Rolex Sea Dweller (Ref. 116600) - I provided the seller with a price suggestion which they did not accept but they came up with a counter offer. I accepted it and paid the watch with my credit card. Status of the transaction was that the payment was received and the seller is preparing the shimpment. As the status didn't change for 4 days I asked the seller what was going on? Only then, they claimed that the watch has "accidentially" been sold to another customer at the same time and that they would instruct Chrono24 to reverse the payment. Which has still not happened. Therefore I think about to launch legal action against the seller as well as Chrono24.

Die Uhr wurde, obwohl ich innerhalb von Stunden bezahlt habe und der Verkäufer meinen Preisvorschlag akzeptiert hatte, ohne Kommunikation einfach weiterverkauft ungeachtet der Tatsache, das mit mir ein wirksamer Kaufvertrag zustandekommen war. Ich kann vor diesem Händler nur warnen, er braucht anscheinend dringend Geld und hält sich nicht an Absprachen.

Via Chat haben wir uns auf einen Preis geeinigt und dann auf Chrono24 bestätigt. Der Verkäufer hat dafür extra eine bestehende Reservierung für mich aufgelöst, da kein Wohl Erfolg auf Zahlung besteht. Daraufhin habe ich die Zahlung AM GLEICHEN TAG über das Treuhandkonto von Chrono24 eingeleitet und den Verkäufer darüber informiert. 2-3h später informierte mich der Verkäufer, dass die Uhr zwischenzeitlich verkauft sei. Das ist extrem ärgerlich. Ich warte nun auf die Rücküberweisung von Chrono24. Gut, dass es diesen Treuhandservice gibt.
