We did not cancel your order, Chrono24 did. We got a note from them that said that you were no longer interested. Here is the text of the message we received: "Dear SWE team, The buyer has informed us that they have decided to cancel this order. For this reason, please DO NOT send the item to the buyer. You are welcome to reach out to the buyer directly to discuss alternatives to a cancellation. If you agree on a new arrangement or have already shipped the order, please let us know within the next 24 hours so that we can undo the cancellation in our system. If you do not respond within that timeframe, the buyer will automatically receive a refund. Do you have any further questions? We'd be glad to help. Kind regards, Your Chrono24 Team"

Here in the Chrono24 platform, we do not handle payments, Chrono24 does. In three days, Chrono24 still had not confirmed your payment, and the watch was sold elsewhere. Your complaint is truly with Chrono24 for not processing and clearing your payment faster, not with us for cancelling the order when payment was not received.

I ordered a watch from this dealer, and they processed my order and sent a payment link while I was at work. Within hours they revoked the order without communication, with chrono24 telling me the dealer sold the watch through another platform after they had processed my order. I then messaged the dealer through their website asking if I could be contacted should the item come back in stock. They asked for my phone number and said I would get a phone call to discuss, which I have not. Other reviews seem to have a similar experience. It appears they don't honor chrono24 the same as their other sales avenues.

The Chrono24 site can’t instantly recognize when a timepiece such as yours has sold beforehand in another venue, so sales are reviewed, and sometimes must be canceled by Chrono24. We operate a fair, first-come-first-served system. Please let us help you find the perfect watch! Said they had the watch, would be shipping it soon, then cancelled. When I asked for an explanation, there was silence. At least explain what happened. Also, don't tell me you are ready to ship if you have no intention on shipping.

Chrono24 handles all payment logistics and issues on their platform. They also cancel orders that don't go through. Here at SWE, we are a seller of certified pre-owned watches on this site. Your complaint is with Chrono24, and their payment system, not SWE, and we would appreciate it if you would remove this review, since it is a mistake.

If I could give minus 5 stars I would. Highly unreliable and dishonest in how they conduct business. BUYER BEWARE as they say. I honestly never give bad reviews. I prefer to work directly with any company that I do business with and tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. This is literally my first negative online review at the age of 44:) For those who are interested, I placed an order late at night and waited for a notice for me to make payment. I then received a notice in the middle of my work day that my order was ready for payment and before I even have a chance to respond (to make payment) the order was cancelled. The reason given was "this item has already been sold!" And if I want to still make a purchase, I was given two other options for the same product at a ~50% premium. What? Can you imagine a vendor doing that with you in-person? If this were some super hot market for some item where prices are going up by the minute, maybe I'd understand on some level but that is not the environment we are in these days. This is just bad business on so many levels. Safe to say, I will not be doing business with this vendor ever again and advise that you do the same. STAY AWAY if you value your time and dignity.

Since every pre-owned watch is different, and we did not have the same exact watch available, we did offer you two other choices. These were 35% more than the original 2002 choice because these are from 2018 and 2019, and they have the updated bezel design that Daytona buyers prefer. That is why they were more expensive; we did not have another 2002 available at the time, but we should have done a better job of explaining why these others were 35% more expensive. Please reach out to us if you do in fact prefer to work with businesses directly. We are happy to help.

When you click to BUY the watch, Chrono24 does not consider the order completed, and in fact, many of those orders are never consummated; they just drop off the Chrono24 system without consequence. When you click to purchase a timepiece on Chrono24, from us or any other seller, it is a best practice to make payment as soon as possible.

The communication was good at the start on the phone, but i did not get any information about that the watch can be sold to someone else while i am paying for it. It takes about 30min for the payment to go trough the secure system in Chrono24. And i didnt get the cancelation before 4,5 hours after my purchase. I even got the purchase confirmation (bill/receipt) and was super excitet about my purchase, until i got the cancellation later on. As i can understand that they want to sell it to first customer who pays for the item, it should be an hour ot two reservation time after you get the confirmation when pressing buy, to be able to get the payment trough the system. Personaly i think this is unprofessional behaviour and i will consider another seller if i can choose between two sellers in the future.

I order and pay then after a few days the dealer told me he cannot send my watch to Saudi Arabia (we are in 2021)!! , it's very disappointing that you find your watch any pay for it with the shipping cost then they cancel the order for a very silly reason.

When you committed to purchase the watch, we expected payment right away, but you started negotiating at that point about the watch strap. You didn't make your payment, and in the meantime, someone else paid for their order. This was a gorgeous watch, in impeccable condition, and while I hate that you missed out on it, I hope you find another one to order. We have almost 70 Patek Philippe watches in stock here so I know we have something you will love. I paid for the item 3 days later the seller messaged me to say that he sold in the time of him being notified and excepting my payment. Then offered me another watch the exact same watch but no paper work for the same price as the one I bought with box and papers. Chrono24 sorted the return of my payment. This seller did not communicate at all and if you use this site you know we all receive confirmation of receiving funds etc. Not Happy!!

After order placed, Dealer emailed their commitment to ship on day of sale. They didn't. After 2 follow up by me, no response. Then 2nd day after sale they emailed "sale canceled. Reason: this item was already sold." VERY FISHY. It appears they may have gotten a direct offer after mine that was no commission.
